It is with deep sorrow I announce that Don Kelly,  Washington Co. GenWeb coordinator,
has passed away. He will be deeply missed by the Oregon GenWeb family of coordinators,
his friends and family.  We thank you Don for all you have done here on the Washington
County GenWeb site.

 Welcome to Washington County, Oregon. We are part of the OregonGenWeb and USGenWeb Projects.

Our goal is to provide genealogy records and essential tools for effective genealogical research in Washington County, Oregon.

This is a community effort and all are encouraged to participate. 

Here is what  we are currently building:

1. We need more cemetery transcription volunteers.

2. We want to build a database of all census records for Washington County from 1840 up to 1940. We will need lots of help here.

3. We want to add land records, family group sheets and other useful genealogical records.
