Hood River County Queries are now found
on the Hood
River County Message Board hosted by RootsWeb/Ancestry.
Messages posted
on the former GenConnect Query System have been moved there. The Hood River County message
board is
"gatewayed" to the Hood River County mailing list, which means postings
made to the board will automatically flow through to the mailing list.
This means a larger audience for your posting.and better
chances of responses to your posting.

Data information for the message boards consists of transcriptions of the records' actual text; all other postings fall into the Query category. For example, a message reporting that the poster has just learned about the untimely death of Mildred Q. Kumquat is classified as a Query, not as a Death Record or Obituary. If someone transcribes Ms. Kumquat's obituary, the Obituary category is used, and if someone transcribes her death record it is placed in the Death category.
