and apparently left that year. By Dec 1900
they were in Grinnell, IA and in Nov 1902
they were in Marshalltown. Have some records
on John Macabe Scott and Sara Agnes Davis
Scott and their ancestors.

Am actively looking for the descendants of
Johann E. PETERS (1865-1955) and Elizabeth
DYCK/DUECK (1869-1946). Both were born in
Southern Russia to Mennonite families and
immigrated to Canada in 1876. Through a series
of interesting travels they found themselves
in Oregon, and became associated with the
Apostolic Church on Church Street in Dallas.
I have reason to believe that they lived
next door to it. Their surviving children
were: Helena (m. Gerhard Giesbrecht), Johann
(m. Lula Bowes), Agatha (m. Ernest Wiebe),
Mary (m. Ora Janes), Susana (m. Bert Penner).
I have quite a bit of information on the
descendants of Johan E. Peters' siblings
(who all stayed in Canada), as well as Helena
(m. to G. Giesbrecht), but would love to
connect with other researchers interested
in and/or knowledgeable in the other lines
that stayed in Oregon. I know that some of
the above children moved to Portland, Medford,
Terrebonne, and other places in Oregon. Some

1927-47, most likely lived in Terrebonne
or Redmond OR. Also a divorce in Deschutes
County OR between 1940-47. This is my Grandmother.

I just recently discovered that my grandmother,
Velma Irene FINLEY, got married in Deschutes
County in 1920 to a man by the name of Allen
Curtis MOTHERSBAUGH. We had always heard
rumors (but she would not confirm them) that
my dad's older brother Hank had a different
father. As a matter of fact, both dad &
Hank had other fathers than what grandma
led us to believe! I would like to find out
more information about this Allen Curtis
Mothersbaugh - where he was from, what he
did and when he & grandma divorced (or
if they divorced!). I know grandma was married
in 1924 (if not earlier) to my dad's "real"
father, Wallace Scott McCUEN, but I don't
know when or where ... perhaps in Deschutes
county? I know that Hank was born in Templeton,
Iowa in 1921 and dad was born in Coon Rapids,
Iowa in 1924. But in between those times,
I have pictures of them both in Bend and
enroute to Bend from the Burns area. If anyone
has any information on any Finley's, Mothersbaugh's
or McCuen's in the Deschutes county area,
I would greatly appreciate a reply back!

GEORGE. Looking to make contact with the
children and/or grandchildren of my great-uncle,
Leopold (Slim) GEORGE; b:Jan 7/1876 in St.
Paul, Kansas, d:June, 1951 in Oregon. 1914
Leopold GEORGE moved with his mother &
adult siblings to Killam, Alberta Canada
when the Canadian West was being settled.
Circa, 1930's Leopold George & his wife,
Theresa (VENNEMAN) George, moved to, I believe,
the Portland area, but due to a lack of info.
within the family in Canada, could very well
be anywhere in OR state. They had 5 children:
Maxine, Mary, Kay, Edmond, and Nick. All
the children would have been born between

WILSON. Looking to make contact with the
children and/or grandchildren of Petronella
"Nell" (George) WILSON & Raymond
WILSON. Nell (GEORGE) Wilson was born Dec
2, 1883, died Sept. 1966 in Oregon. 1914
Petronella (George) Wilson moved with her
mother & adult siblings to WA state temporarily.
Most of the George family eventually moved
on to settle in Killam, Alberta Canada. My
guess is Nell met Ray Wilson in WA state,
married, and settled in the Portland area,
and never did move to Killam, Alberta Canada
with the rest of the family. Due to a lack
of info within the family in Canada, this
family could very well have settled elsewhere
in OR state, but probably the Portland area.
They had 6 children: Jeanette, Bernadette
married Carl HELGERSON, Marie married Ben
JOHNSON, Dan married Rose PETERSEN, Bill
married Eva HETZLER and Ted married Harriet
