Agnes M. Bannon

Agnes M. Bannon (UMHAUR) of Prineville, died on Sept. 1, 2000 at St. Charles 
Medical Center in Bend. She was 69 years old.
    In 1949 she met and married Lawrence Bannon. After marrying, the couple 
continued to make their home in Prineville.
  Mrs. Bannon worked a a meat wrapper for Scotty's Thriftway (currently 
Ochoco Thriftway) untill her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed crossword 
puzzles, toll painting, and dancing. She was an active member of the Ladies 
Eagles Auxiliary in Prineville where she was a trustee for the last three 
years. She was a nominated Mother of the Year in 1997 by the eagles Lodge. 
She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Redmond, a member of 
the National Bowling Assoc., and an active League bowler at the Crooked River 
Lanes. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prineville.
  Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of Prineville; sons, Tim Bannon of 
Prineville, Lance Bannon of Adams; daughters, Cindy Hart of Pendelton, Debbie 
Koroush of Corvallis; brother, John Umhaur of Bend; sisters Dorothy Hovde of 
Baudette, Minn., Charlotte Birkedahl of Tacoma, Wash., and six grandchildren
  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prineville on 
Sept . 6 at 10 am. with a private internment following at Deschutes Memorial 
Gardens at a later date. 
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American 
Heart foundation.
  Deschutes Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
