1890 Census Reconstruction
There are varying amounts of information available for each individual on this “reconstructed” census [the original was burned and the reconstruction is from military records - listing soldiers and sailors who served with the Union, although those who served with the Confederacy are often listed and then lined out].  There are no assigned page numbers, however, I have arbitrarily assigned page numbers starting with page one being the first Coos County page [blank pages are given page numbers also].  Entries are not in alphabetical order - they are listed in the order enumerated, however I have also created a separate alphabetical index showing the name and precinct.  Also for each individual, except those who served with the Confederate forces, there is a house/family  number from Schedule I.  If there is only an asterisk in the military data column, it simply means that there was nothing other than the name on the census reconstruction.
Names are enumerated in the following precinct order:
Myrtle Point       Fairview    Iowa Slough       Bandon, Randolph & Parkersburg
                           Sumner                Marshfield               Coos River
