According to family records Charles S. Dykstra (my great uncle) was a Clackamas County Sheriff in 1935-39. I am trying to get verification of this.

Herrmann

My name is Deborah (Hermann) Babb.  My great-great grandparents are buried in
Oregon City at St. John the Apostle Catholic Cemetary.  They are Jacob and
Clara Herrmann.  Buried near them is their son, Adam Bernard Herrmann.

A B WOOLLEY b. Elkhart, IN April 20, 1845 d. Oregon December ,1905

A telegram was received by relatives announcing the sudden death of AB
WOOLLEY last Sunday evening at his home in St. Johns, Oregon, a suburb
of Portland. His sister, MRS. JOE SMITH, also a resident of St. Johns,
and her husband were present at the time of his decease. No additional
particulars have been received but it is believed that death came
suddenly. MR. and MRS. J.W. ATEN paid deceased a visit last August and
he was then in the enjoyment of excellent health.

MR. WOOLLEY was born in Elkhart, Ind., April 20, l845, and came to Iowa
with his parents in l853. He served during the Civil War in Co. L. 3rd
Iowa Cavalry. His brother, JOHN, was killed at Mission Ridge; another
brother died after the war of disese contracted while in the service.
MR. WOOLLEY went west in June, l870, and accumulated some property. He
was unmarried and never applied for a pension. Interment occurred at
St. Johns.
