Mrs. Laura H. Williams, of Gladstone, Or., wife of C. A. Williams,
Adjutant-General of the State G.A.R., died last night at
8:30 o'clock at St. Vincent's Hospital, following a surgical operation.
The funeral will probably be held tomorrow afternoon
from the Oregon City Methodist Church of which Mrs. Williams was
a member.
Mrs. Williams was born in Alexandria, New Hampshire, December
22, 1849. She was married October 21, 1875, and came to Oregon
in 1890. She is survived by her husband, C. A. Williams, and two
sons, W. A. Williams, of 876 Gantenbein avenue, Portland, and
Clark H. Williams, of The Oregonian city staff. |
