The body of William M. Warnock, 84, who died at the home of his son,
Fred Warnock, in Portland, Monday night, was brought to
Oregon City this morning and taken to the Holman & Pace funeral
chapel. Mr. Warnock was an ex-resident of Springwater, Clackamas
county, where he engaged in farming for many years. He came to Oregon
in 1853.
Mr. Warnock is survived by his sons, Fred, Portland; Samuel Warnock,
Tillamook; a daughter, and the following sisters. Mrs.
James F. Tracy, Gladstone; Mrs. Jane Folsom, Umatilla; Mrs. Margaret
Folsom, Sprague, Wash., and Mrs. Mary F. Howell,
Springwater. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Ada Pearl of this
city and of the late Mrs. Hattie Wilson. |
