| In the death of Alexander Wannamacher at his home near Sunnyside, near Clackamas
in Clackamas County, July 24, there passed
away a pioneer resident and farmer. Coming to Oregon in 1877 from California,
he first settled at New Era, afterwards moving to
East Portland, where he lived at East Harrison street and Union avenue until
he moved on his farm near Sunnyside. He was a
member of the Turn Verein and other German organizations. He was 64 years of
age. His widow survives him. The funeral services
will be held at the chapel of the East Side Funeral Directors, 414 East Alder
street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. |
