G. E. Veteto, a well known resident of New Era, died at the family home in New Era yesterday morning at 10 o'clock after a
three months' illness. Mr. Veteto was born February 13, 1831, in DeWitt County, Illinois, where he remained until 1895, when he
went to Coffee County, Kansas. He came to Oregon in 1876, making his home at New Era. His wife died about five years ago.
Deceased leaves the following children: Mrs. Sarah M. Kannarr, of Neosho Falls, Kan.; R. O. Veteto, of Barlow; Elmer F. Veteto
and Mrs. L. Criteser, of New Era.
