Mrs. Julia J. Tingle, widow of the late Nathan Tingle, and a resident of Gladstone for 20 years, died at her home in
Gladstone, Tuesday, December 12.

Mrs. Tingle was born April 11, 1841, at Hartford, Conn. Her marriage to Nathan Tingle took place in Michigan in October,
1858. In 1870 she and her family came west, settling in Oregon.

Funeral services will be held from the Methodist church in this city Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. A. H. Lathrop,
pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View cemetery.
