James Summers, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Summers, well known and early Oregon City pioneers, died at the family
home from apoplexy. Mr. Summers' home was near Shaniko, eastern Oregon, and he came here about two months ago to visit his
sister, Mrs. Kate McNamara, and his brother, Peter Summers.
