Mrs. Barbara Stauber, wife of Michael Stauber, prominent resident of New Era, died at the family home Thursday night. Mrs. Stauber
is survived by her widower, Michael Stauber of New Era; her children, Mrs. Katharine St. John, Portland, Or.; Mrs. F. L. bock,
Chehalis, Wash.; Julian Shaskey, Portland; Martin and Edward Stauber, New Era; also 13 grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held at the Catholic church at New Era Monday morning, and interment will be in the New Era cemetery.
Father M. Jonas, pastor of the Catholic church at Canby, will officiated. Edward Brady of this city will have charge of the funeral
arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Stauber, wife of Michael Stauber, prominent resident of Clackamas county, who died at the family
home half a mile east of New Era last Thursday night following a few hours illness, will be held from St. James' Catholic church at
New Era tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Jonas, pastor of the Catholic church in Canby, will officiate. Interment will be
in the New Era cemetery.

Mrs. Stauber was born in Chicago, 70 years ago. For over 38 years she had made her home on the farm near New Era. Mrs. Stauber
was the mother of 11 children, five of whom survive. These are: Mrs. Walter St. John, Portland; Mrs. F. L. Bock, Chehalis, Wash.;
Martin Stauber, New Era; Mrs. J. Chasky, Portland; Edward Stauber, New Era. The widower also survives.
