Albert LeRoy Snell, a prominent resident of Canby, who was engaged in the fruit-growing industry, died suddenly Saturday night from
heart disease. Mr. Snell had been ill for several days.

Mr. Snell was born May 11, 1843 and is survived by his widow, two daughters and a son.

The funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church at Canby, with interment in the Mount Zion cemetery.
