Almon M. Shibley, pioneer of Clackamas county, died at the family home this morning at the age of 86 years. Mr. Shibley was a
native of New York, and had resided in the Springwater section for the past 40 years.

Mr. Shibley is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mollie Stromer of Estacada, Mrs. Estella Bard of Springwater, J. A.
Shibley of Springwater; a sister, Mrs. Hickman of Portland; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held a Springwater Wednesday.
