Mrs. Paul Sauer of Upper Garfield died March 4 after giving birth to a baby. The cause of her death, however, was lobular
pneumonia. The child lived only three hours after its birth. Mrs. Sauer was 34 at the time of her death. She was a native of
Germany, but came to this country when she was 16. She was married to Paul Sauer in 1906 and of this union were born five
children, three of whom survive. She was buried in Mount Zion cemetery last Sunday.
