Arthur Rugg, of this city, has been advised of the death of his mother, Mrs. M. L. Rugg, and wife of a former pastor of the
Baptist Church of this city. Mrs. Rugg, accompanied by her husband, left New Westminster, B. C., last April, for a visit with
their daughter, Mrs. Edna Hubbard, at Columbus, Ohio, and it was there she was taken ill.

Paralysis was the immediate cause of Mrs. Rugg's death. The interment will be at Hamilton, N. Y., former home of the deceased.

Mrs. Rugg was born in the State of New York, March 2, 1855, and was 54 years of age. She is survived by her husband and three
children---Arthur, of New Westminster, B. C.; Mrs. Edna Hubbard, of Columbus, Ohio, and Arthur E., of this city.
