Mrs. Mary Rohel, well known pioneer of Clackamas county, died at
the home of her son, A. L. Jones, near Mulino, this morning
after several weeks' illness.
Mrs. Rohel was 84 years of age, came to Oregon with her parents
in 1867, and since that time had made Clackamas county her
home. After the death of her first husband, Mr. Jones, she was
married to Mr. Rohel, who was accidentally killed in the woolen
mils a number of years ago.
Mrs. Rohel is survived by her sons, W. H. Jones of Newport, Or.,
A. L. Jones of Mulino, Clackamas county; Lee Jones of
Philomath, Or. |
