John Revenue, 75, the first white child born in the Sandy valley
and president of the Sandy Pioneer association, died at his
farm home in the Kelso district near here today.
Mr. Revenue was the son of Francis Revenue who established the

born three years later. He spent his entire life in this section
and is regarded as its best known resident.

two sons, Homer, who resides near his father, and Ray of Oregon
City; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Webster of Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday from the
Sandy grange hall. Charles Sievers, Oregon City attorney and
lifelong friend of the family, will deliver the funeral oration. |
