| William Rambo, for 28 years a resident of Oregon City, died at his home, 511
Adams street, early this morning, after an
illness from Bight's disease of about a year. Mr. Rambo was born near Davenport,
Ia., in 1853, and is survived by his widow and
nephew, J. Hammer, of Oregon City. He and Miss Etta Buckles were married in Parsons,
Kan., in January, 1879. They came to
Oregon City in 1884, Mr. Rambo's mother, Mrs. M. Kayes, and his sister, Mrs.
Greenley, live in Lents. Another sister, Mrs. J.
Murrow, lives in Hillsboro. Another sister and a brother live in Oklahoma. |
