I. G. Rambo was found dead in his bed this morning at his home in
Green Point by his brother, Captain Rambo. He had died
during the night of heart disease. He was born in Davenport, Ia..,
August 17, 1853, and came to Oregon in 1886 and settled at
Salem, living there eight years, when he came to Oregon City, where
he had since resided.
Rambo was a plasterer by trade. He is survived by a sister, Mrs.
Lotto Greenlee, of Lents, Or., a sister at Russellville,
Kan., a mother at Lents and three brothers, W. and Captain S. Rambo,
of Oregon City, and Murrow Rambo, of Portland. |
