Ephraim Pittman, a pioneer who crossed the plains in 1862, passed away here July 4. He had been a suffered from Bright's
disease for some time and his death was not unexpected. His wife died about a year ago. He is survived by two sons and two
daughters. He was buried in the Oddfellows' Cemetery on Sunday.
