Charles Henry Pauling died at his home in this city yesterday afternoon of influenza. He was a native of Missouri, born July
12, 1847, and a veteran of the civil war. Mr. Pauling is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Campbell, wife of Judge
J. U. Campbell of Oregon City. The funeral services were held in the Congregational church today and interment took place in the
Oswego cemetery.
