Jonathan C. Paddock, ex-county treasurer of Clackamas county, prominent member of Meade post No. 2, Grand Army of the Republic,
died at the family home at Gladstone yesterday after a three weeks' illness. Mr. Paddock was born at Burlington, Ia., November 10,
1842. Mr. Paddock is survived by three children, Arthur D. Paddock, a druggist at Gladstone; Miss Lura Paddock and Miss Jessie
Paddock, of Gladstone, the latter a deputy in the tax department of the courthouse in this city.
Funeral services, which were held from the Christian church at Gladstone this afternoon, were conducted by Rev. G. E. Williams of
