Funeral services for Lloyd Owen, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Owen of Beaver Creek, who died yesterday from accidental
discharge of a .22 caliber rifle, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Clarkes church.

The lad in company with Robert Eaples, 16, had been on a hunting trip for graydiggers and rabbits. The Eaples boy had sat down,
and is believed to have loaded the gun. It accidentally discharged, the bullet entering the Owen boy's side near the heart. The lad
died shortly before reaching Oregon City.
