Mrs. Eliza Oak, known to hundreds of Oregon pioneers, died at her home at Truman's ranch, at the lower end of the trail to Bull Run
lake, Tuesday. Mrs. Oak was formerly Mrs. Eliza Truman. Funeral services will be held today at Cherryville.

Mrs. Oak was 63 years old. For many years she resided on the Truman ranch, and after the death of her husband she conducted the
place herself. Five years ago she was stricken with paralysis.

Shortly after she became an invalid she was married to Andrew Oak, who owns the farm adjacent to the Truman place.
