F. G. Miller, a prominent member of the Grand Army of the Republic,
died suddenly Sunday morning at his home here.
Mr. Miller, who had been a resident of Oregon since December,
was in his 73d year. He accompanied member of Meade Post
Thursday to the Barclay and Parkplace schools. He is survived by
a son and a daughter, Curtis G. Miller and Leonora D. Miller,
with whom he lived.
Sunday morning Mr. Miller's son went to breakfast, his father
promising to join him in 10 minutes. When his father did not
appear the son went to his room and found him dead.
Members of Meade Post, Grand Army of the Republic, held funeral
services this morning and the body was sent to Kalispell,
Mont., where Mr. Miller formerly lived. |
