David B. Martin, 87, died at his home at Gladstone, Or., July 26, after an illness of two years. He was born in Lancaster
county, Pennsylvania, September 13, 1834. In 1871 he married Miss Clema Smith at Woodburn, Or. Besides his widow he is survived
by a daughter, Mrs. Maud Rypezynski, of Oregon City; a son, Homer Martin, of Santa Barbara, Cal.; a brother, Abraham Martin, of
Naperville, Ill., 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
