News was received here today of the death of William Maplethorpe, at Ellensburg. He was for several years motorman in the
employ of the Willamette Falls Railway Company in West Oregon City, and went to Washington about five years ago. He is survived
by a widow and four children. Maplethorpe was an electrician, but was killed along with a companion, by an explosion.
