James MacDole, who has resided in Oregon City for a number of years, died here last Sunday night.

Little is known of Mr. MacDole, except that his wife died about 60 years ago, and that he was a native of Ohio, and more than
90 years of age. He cast his first vote for President Buchanan in 1856, and never failed to vote in a presidential election
since that time.

For many years he made his home in Minnesota.
