Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Lubbens, wife of Bernard Lubbens of Aurora, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran
church, with Rev. W. R. Kraxberger of Oregon City officiating. Mrs. Lubbens was a pioneer resident of the Macksburg community,
having moved recently to Aurora. She was 53 years old. An only son was drowned two years ago, and the husband is the only
survivor.
