Mrs. Charles David Latourette, who spent practically her entire life in Clackamas county, died at her home on Promenade and
Fifth streets last night.

Sedonia Shaw, the eighth of nine children of Jefferson R. and Martha Jane Shaw, who crossed the plains to Oregon in 1852 from
Missouri, was born on a farm on the Tualatin river near Willamette December 29, 1861. With her parents, she moved to Oregon City
when a young woman and was married to Mr. Latourette in Salem July 5, 1880. Mr. Latourette's death occurred January 14, 1930.

She was one of the three oldest members of the First congregational church and was a charter member of the Saturday club,
woman's organization of that church.

She was the mother of five sons, one of whom, William Walter, died December 23, 1887. The four surviving sons are Mortimer D.
Latourette, president of the First National bank of this city; Howard F. Latourette, circuit judge in this city, and John R.
Latourette, Portland attorney. A brother, Edward L. Shaw of 405 Sixth street, Oregon City, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Eppley of
McMinnville, remain.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the First congregational church, Dr. E. P. Borden, pastor, officiating.
