"Body Found in Canal"

The body of J. C. Kaupisch who disappeared yesterday afternoon
was found in the old canal near the Molalla river late last night
by
Harry Porter and Hugo Schaubel, member of a searching party. He had
worried a great deal over his physical condition.
Mr. Kaupisch, had been a resident of Canby for more than 30 years.
During the past year he had been in poor health. He is
survived by his widow and one son, Walter, of Portland, and a foster
son, James McAlister, also of Portland. |

husband of Matilda H. of Canby; father of James and H. Waldemar
Kaupisch of Portland and Mrs. Margaret Coopey of Corvallis. Funeral services
will be held at Holman's and Pace chapel, Oregon City,
Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. Private interment Riverview Cemetery. |
