Frank Kaiser, a well known resident of Clackamas County, residing at Peet's Mountain, near New Era, died this morning after a
week's illness of pneumonia. The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at the St. James Catholic Church at New Era.
Father Mathews officiating. Mr. Kaiser was born in Germany, February 20, 1829, and came to America in 1861, settling at Detroit,
Mich. In 1862 he married Miss Katherine Fisk at Lake Superior, Mich. Thence they moved to Oregon City, and from here went to
New Era in 1878. John and William Kaiser, sons, farmers at Peet's Mountain, survive.
