Mrs. Wilmotte Sarah Jennings, wife of John Jennings, of Jennings Lodge, died at the family home Tuesday evening, after two
years illness.

Mrs. Jennings was born at Gardner, Or., June 23, 1868, and was the daughter of the late S. M. and Georgia A. Tibbets, and the
granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan B. Tibbets. Her grandfather was one of the first Methodist ministers of Oregon, and her
parents were early Oregon pioneers, the father being an Indian war veteran, serving in the Indian wars of southern Oregon in the
early days, and one of the early pioneer stage drivers. Mrs. Jennings was also a niece of singer Hammond.
