Mrs. Elizabeth A. Jackson, a pioneer of 1853, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maggie Young, at Clackamas, at 3:30
o'clock this afternoon, after an illness of several years. Besides her daughter, she is survived by one son, S. B. Jackson, of
Walker, Lane County.

The body will be taken to Eugene Monday, where the services will be held. Mrs. Jackson has lived in Lane County from the time
of her arrival in Oregon until she left for a visit to her daughter at Clackamas recently. Her maiden name was Miss Elizabeth A.
Harper. She was born in Hancock County, Illinois, September 20, 1832. At the age of 3 her parents moved to Jo David County,
Illinois, where she lived until her marriage to S. B. Jackson, November 23, 1848.
