Services for Frank Howell, 74, route 2, Estacada, who died Sunday
at an Oregon City hospital, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the
Estacada Funeral home.
Rev. Violet Bolliger will officiate and interment will be at
the Springwater cemetery.
Howell was struck by a motorcycle the night of June 29 while
walking along the highway on the outskirts of Estacada. He was
taken
to Oregon City hospital with fractures of both legs, head injuries,
fractured nose and shock. Driver of the motorcycle was identified
by Clackamas county deputy sheriffs as Cecil James Crow, 18, Oregon
City.
Howell, a berry farmer in the Estacada area for many years, was
born March 13, 1880, in Springwater. He was unmarried. Survivors
include a sister, Mrs. Flossie May Bard, Oaksdale, Wash.; brothers,
Archie Howell, Beaver Creek, and Harry Howell, Oregon City. |
