Frank A. Hoffman, a pioneer of 1852, died at New Era Wednesday afternoon, aged 90 years. He was born in Germany, came to New
Era in 1864 and had lived there continuously until the time of his death. He leaves three sons and three daughters, John, Joseph
and Fred Hoffman, Mrs. Eugene Steringer, of Portland; Mrs. Charles Baechler, of Santa Barbara, Cal., and Miss Gertrude Hoffman,
of New Era. The body was brought to Oregon City. Arrangements for the funeral as yet have not been completed.
