Mrs. Harriet Hibbard, 72, died at Marquam, near here last night, following a stroke of apoplexy as she was entering a hall to
attend a social gathering. She was the widow of O. F. Hibbard, Indian war veteran who died in March of this year.

Mrs. Hibbard was born in Iowa, February 23, 1848, and had lived in Oregon since her early childhood. She is survived by two
sons, H. A. Hibbard and A. B. Hibbard, both of Molalla, a daughter, Mrs. Belle Hester of Portland and seven grandchildren. The
funeral will be held Saturday.
