Mrs. Mary C. Hardisty died at the home of her father, Henry Sampson, near Needy, Or., of paralysis following an illness of
four years. Mrs. Hardisty was 75 years old. With her parents she crossed the plains in 1853. She is survived by her widower,
Ab Hardisty; a sister, Miss Lotti Sampson of Canby, Or., and a brother, Marion Sampson of Needy, Or.

Mrs. Mary Catherine Hardesty, wife of Albert Hardesty, pioneer resident of Clackamas county, died at the family home at Needy,
Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Hardesty also is survived by a sister, Miss Lottie Samson of Canby,
and a brother, Marion Samson of Yoder station. Funeral services will be held at the Rock Creek cemetery tomorrow morning at 11
o'clock, and interment will be in the family lot.
