C. H. Guttridge, 91 years old, of Gladstone, well-known pioneer resident of Clackamas county and formerly of Springwater,
near Estacada, died Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. L. Sanders, with whom he had been making
his home for the past eight years. Mr. Guttridge's death was caused by old age. He was born at Tipton, Staffordshire, England,
December 25, 1829, and came to the United States June 5, 1852.
