Mrs. Esther Githens, 70, widow of Henry Githens, died Saturday at her home at Eagle Creek. She was the daughter of Richard and
Margaret Elmore Bradley, who came over the Old Oregon Trail by ox team, settling at Eagle Creek in 1867. She was married to Henry
Githens in February, 1880. Children surviving are: William and Richard Githens and Mrs. Gussie Carlin. Funeral services were held
today.
