Mrs. O. E. Freytag, wife of the Mayor of Gladstone, died at her home tonight at 8:30 o'clock after an illness of more than a
year. She was 44 years old.

Mrs. Freytag was the daughter of Peter Rinearson, who was one of the most prominent pioneers of Clackamas County and who
settled on the Rinearson donation claim on the site of the present town of Gladstone. Mr. Freytag married Emma A. Rinearson 20
years ago.

Two children, Clayton, aged 20, and Orvan, aged 17, besides Mr. Freytag survive.
