Alcion Rutledge Francis, 68, 875 First street, died Sunday at
the Portland sanitarium. He was born in Oregon City, Or., and had
always lived in this vicinity. For many years he was a toolsmith
for the Willamete Iron & Steel works. He was a member of the
United
Artisans.
Surviving Mr. Francis are his widow and five children: Jesse,
Fred, David, Walter and Wesley of Portland, and a daughter,
Elizabeth, in Chile; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Fraser and Mrs. Ida
Woodruff, and a brother, Estevin of Portland. Funeral arrangements
have not been announced. |
