Isaac Foster, 67, a native son, died at the home of his brother, Egbert N. Foster, on January 13, after a lingering illness.
He was born February 9, 1849, the son of Philip and Mary C. Foster, pioneers of 1843. He is survived by two sons, Burt and
Edward, and brothers George of Portland, and Egbert, of Eagle Creek, and one sister, Mary A. Young, of Condon, Or. Isaac Foster
had passed nearly his entire life on the original homestead taken up by his father in 1843.
