Isaac Farr, a pioneer butcher of this city, died late last night
after an illness of long duration. Funeral arrangements have
not been made yet. Mr. Farr was 75 years of age, and was born in
County Tyrone, Ireland. He came to New York when a lad of 10,
and in 1861 crossed the plains to Oregon. Since that time he had
resided in Oregon City. He married Mrs. Annie Morris after
coming here, and the following children survive him: Clarence, Newton,
Louis, Edward, Mrs. Ola Ashbough and Mrs. C. A. Stuart,
of this city; Elmer Farr, of Kansas City, and Ross Farr, of Astoria. |
