Miles Deakins, prominent farmer of Clackamas station, died this
morning at the Oregon City hospital of pneumonia. His widow,
Louise Deakins, and three small children survive. Funeral arrangements
have not yet been made.

Obituary --- Miles Deakin
Miles Deakin, a well known rancher living near Clackamas, Or.,
for nearly a quarter of a century, died Tuesday at the Oregon
City hospital from pneumonia, with which he was stricken last Saturday.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon
from the Methodist church, with burial in the Clackamas cemetery.
Mr. Deakin was born in Linn county 47 years ago and lived there
until 20 years old, when he moved to Clackamas county. He
leaves, besides his widow, two daughters and one son, all small
children. He is survived also by ten brothers and two sisters. |
