James Edward Crawford, of Clackamas County, who died Saturday,
January 9, at his home near Estacada, was born in Washington
County, Arkansas, October 17, 1843, and came to Oregon in 1861,
settling in Clackamas County. He removed to Oakesdale, Wash., in
1878, remaining there until 1892, when he returned to Clackamas
County. He is survived by his wife and six children, five sons
and one daughter, as follows: G. R., F. O., D. P., Lester, Oscar
and Louvene E. Crawford, all of Clackamas County. Deceased was
a member of Estacada Lodge, No. 175, I.O.O.F.
