Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Yoder celebrated their golden wedding anniversary January 8 at their home at Yoder, Or. Twenty-nine
relatives and friends attended.
F. W. Parker of Oregon City gave a short talk and read one of his poems.
Mr. and Mrs. Yoder were married 50 years ago in McLean county, Illinois, and moved at once to Missouri, where they lived until
1888, when they moved to Clackamas county, Oregon, and have lived on the same place ever since.
They have seven children, Mrs. Florence Bork, Mrs. J. W. Watson, Mrs. H. C. Rittenour, Maude, Grant, J. B. and Elsie Yoder.
Their are five granddaughters.
Besides the family, those present at the celebration were: Mrs. Catherine Yoder, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Yoder, Mr. and Mrs. L. B.
Yoder, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watson, all of Yoder; Mrs. R. L. Yoder of Metzger, Mrs. and Mrs. Joseph Schwartz of Redland, Mr. and
Mrs. F. W. Parker of Oregon City, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Hyatt and daughter Margaret, Miss Prudence Denney and W. J. Frye, all of
