Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Engle of Estacada, Or., residents for 28 years, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on April 20
with a dinner and dance for nearly 100 relatives and friends, held at Dodge hall, near Estacada. They were married in 1865 at
Burroack, Mich., and came to Oregon in 1907 from Howard City, Mich. Mrs. Engle, who, before her marriage, was Miss Lucinda Fair,
was born in Ohio 71 years ago. Her husband, who is 73, is also a native of Ohio.

They have five children, Mrs. Jack Birdino, Ernest and Hobart Engle, all of Portland; Miles Engle of Estacada and Mrs. Kernie
Sargent of Detroit, Mich.
